How to check link in emails

                                             [italian version]

Phishing emails contain links that appear to be legitimate but actually take you to malicious sites. Always check before clicking.

When you receive an email, if you're on your computer, hover your mouse over the link to see the actual address that appears in the bottom left corner. If it's full of strange characters, isn't an official site, or looks suspicious (e.g., unidp.it instead of unipd.it), don't click it.

Below are two examples:

CORRECT LINK: https://(something).unipd.it/ example https://elearning.unipd.it/

WRONG LINK: https://unipd.(something).domain example https://unidp.mypagexx.com or https://univsita-degli-padova.mystrikinglyxx.com/

Note: If you entered your credentials on an SSO page and immediately became suspicious that it is not the original one, change your password immediately!
